Reflexology: The World at Your Feet
The idea that manipulating the feet can improve the health is far from
new. Ancient hyrogliphics show Egyptians massaging their feet.

The foot is a microcosm of the entire body. Reflexology is the science
and art that reflex points along the foot relieve symptoms elsewhere in
the body.

Refloxologists use their hands and fingers to apply pressure to special
points of your foot. Sessions typically last from 30 to 60 minutes or
can be integrated into your massage therapy session.

Reflexology can alleviate a wide variety of stress-related problems such
as headache, premenstrual syndrome, asthma, digestive disorders, skin
conditions and pain.

If you have a foot injury or any vascular problems in your lower legs,
discuss reflexology with your doctor first. Be sure to let your
therapist know if you have a pacemaker, gallstones or kidney stones, or
if you are pregnant.

Incorporate reflexology into your life and enjoy the benefits of having
the world at your feet.
