Houston Style Magazine recently honored Massage By Nicole founder,
Nicole Thomas, as part of its ‘Thirty Under Thirty Invitational
Mixer.’ The event recognized young Houstonians who are making waves in
the Bayou City area and beyond. Houston Style Magazine’s Thirty Under
Thirty Foundation Board of Directors competitively selected each person.
Founded by Francis Page, Jr., the publication celebrates its 15th year
of serving the African-American community. The mixer was held at The
Ensemble Theater where the young professionals were recognized with
statutes for their entrepreneurial and educational efforts. Fellows are
expected to share the knowledge they gain from event seminars with
colleagues at their organizations or companies. Other honorees included
music producers, website founders, performers and clothiers.
Thomas, who created Massage By Nicole four years ago, says it’s
wonderful to be considered among the movers and shakers in town. The
entrepreneur is certainly among the ones to watch as she consistently
extenders her lengthy list of celebrity clientele. She also sponsors
seminars dedicated to wellness and healthy lifestyles, and she shares
her knowledge through articles about the community and lifestyle issues.
Earlier this year the 29-year-old was nominated for a 2004 Pinnacle
Award. Right now Thomas is focusing on expanding her business by
incorporating more services. She plans to eventually open a spa in
Houston where she’ll offer a multitude of services that cater to the
mind, body and spirit. |
